Embracing a New Vision
In a world dominated by materialism, relentless competition, and a scarcity mentality, true fulfillment can only be found in the support and social care of our friends and families. Years spent as mere cogs in the corporate machine have shown us that we are just numbers in a system that values profits over human connection. This realization ignited our desire to break free from this cycle and create opportunities for like-minded individuals. Thus, TerraLuna was born—a community where we prioritize people over profits and nurture genuine human connections.
The Transition Phase
Transitioning to a self-sustainable lifestyle is a gradual process. At TerraLuna, we believe in setting small, achievable goals to reduce our dependency on conventional systems. We are establishing a remote-capable area that will serve both as our base and as a platform to share our vision and progress with the world. Through social media engagement, we aim to inspire others to join us on this transformative journey.
Designing with Intention
Our intentional community is designed to provide a social support structure and a low-impact lifestyle for its members, residents, volunteers, and guests. We envision a rural haven where values like respect, peace, and purposeful living are rediscovered. TerraLuna will be a fully self-sustainable farm, hosting solstice festivals to engage the wider community and fostering inclusive redistribution through markets and trade routes.
To bring this vision to life, we will integrate:
- Ecological design
- Permaculture principles
- Ubuntu-contribution philosophy
- Ecological construction
- Green production methods
- Alternative energy sources
- Community-building practices
Sparking Innovation with Eco-Business
TerraLuna will also include several eco-business elements to spark innovation, support a stronger local economy, and provide alternatives for local people. By fostering an environment of creativity and sustainability, we aim to inspire others to think differently about business and community.
Our Land, Our People
TerraLuna spans 10.9 hectares of beautiful bushveld in the Limpopo province, approximately 50 km from the nearest towns of Bella-Bella and Thabazimbi. Our land is the heart of our community, offering a serene and fertile ground for our dreams to take root.
For community members, fair work, cooperation, and an abundance mindset are key to aligning with our vision. We are currently seeking founding members, experienced permaculture volunteers, and digital nomads looking for a community, to join us in building this dream. If you are passionate about sustainability, community, and a new way of living, TerraLuna welcomes you to be part of our journey.
Join us at TerraLuna and help us create a future where people and nature thrive together. Let’s build a world where respect, peace, and purposeful living are the foundation of our daily lives. Together, we can turn this dream into reality.
Looking good..
