Welcome to TerraLuna: Where Dreams Meet Purpose

In the heart of Limpopo, we are creating an eco-village that embraces sustainability and harmony with nature. Over the past five months, our journey has been filled with challenges and profound moments of growth. One of the hardest trials we faced was the devastating loss of our beloved huskies, who fell victim to poisoned carcasses left on a neighboring farm.

In the depths of our grief, something remarkable happened. Out of love and kindness, Tannie Biebie gifted us what she believed to be puppies. To our surprise, they were wolf-bred. This unexpected turn of events left us with a choice: to give up and return to Centurion or to rise above the tragedy and create something meaningful in remembrance of our huskies.

We chose to build.

From that decision, TerraLuna evolved into more than just a vision of an eco-village. It became a mission to protect and rehabilitate animals, foster poison awareness, and create a sanctuary where nature and people could find second chances together. Our dream now includes an animal rehabilitation center and a wolf sanctuary, integrated into a natural lifestyle that inspires hope and healing.

To support our vision, we have also incorporated tourism and events into our initiatives. TerraLuna offers a bed and breakfast, camping facilities, and the opportunity to host events and parties with individuals who share our values. These activities not only sustain the village but also create a space where like-minded people can come together to celebrate life and nature.

The Cry of the Wolf Festival is more than an event—it’s a fundraiser to support this mission. By attending, you are helping us create a sustainable future for animals and the people who care for them. Our farm is designed to become a self-sustaining vehicle through eco-agriculture, tourism, and events, all while promoting a lifestyle that cherishes the natural world.

We are also looking for like-minded individuals who share this dream to join us in building TerraLuna. Whether as residents, contributors, or supporters, we invite you to make this your nature retreat—a place to live intentionally with sustainability at heart. Here, you can create your own opportunities to grow, thrive, and give back, enriching and enlightening the community as a whole.

Your support allows us to:

  • Rescue and rehabilitate animals in need.
  • Raise awareness about the dangers of poisoning.
  • Develop a sustainable eco-community.
  • Provide second chances for animals and nature-oriented people to thrive together.

We’re just getting started, and there’s a lot of work ahead to stabilize the farm and achieve our goals. But with your help, we can turn tragedy into triumph and dreams into reality.

Join us in creating a world where life is celebrated, nature is respected, and every living being has a chance to heal and thrive.

About Us

The TerraLuna story

In the heart of the Limpopo province, beneath the vast African sky, lay a place that symbolized the beginning of a dream, a journey into the unknown, and the union of two different worlds. This place, known as Henk and Mandi’s TerraLuna, was a canvas waiting for their shared vision to take shape.
